Chiriqui, Panama's westernmost province bordering Costa Rica, has a rich wealth of avian treasures. The highland cloud forests here are dripping with orchids, bromeliads and ferns, providing the perfect haven for over 50 species endemic to the Talamanca Mountains of Panama and Costa Rica. EASTERN PANAMA & DARIÉN

As one of the most biodiverse regions of Central America, eastern Panama and the vast Darien are home to many regional endemics and rare species, including Panama's national bird, the Harpy Eagle. This tour brings us to explore the Darien lowlands - its vast matrix of forest, fields and wetlands - and venture into the wilderness of Darien National Park. There are regularly Harpy and Crested eagle nests to be visited; the opportunity to see these rare forest raptors is truly an incredible experience.
